All 139 mainstream secondary schools ranked by 2026 PSLE cut-off point (COP) and grouped into six tiers, plus the specialised schools that admit outside the posting system. PSLE scores run from 4 (best) to 32 — the lower the COP, the harder the school is to get into. Gender: B boys · G girls · C co-ed. "Affil." = lower cut-off for pupils from affiliated primary schools.

These schools skip S1 posting entirely; entry is by tests, auditions, portfolios or sports trials. NUS High is the academic apex (peer profile ≈ RI/HCI); SOTA and Sports School are the top schools in their domains.
The "Big Five." Near-perfect PSLE required; at HCI and NYGH even a 6 needs Higher Chinese at Merit to clear the tie-break.
Single-digit scores still required. Affiliation helps substantially at the mission schools.
The IP tail (Cedar, River Valley) plus the strongest O-level/G3 schools, including the SAP high schools.
Solid, well-regarded neighbourhood-plus schools; many mission schools here have much lower affiliated cut-offs.
Mainstream schools across the heartlands. † Kuo Chuan Presbyterian: source printout shows only the affiliated cut-off.
Nearly all sit at the G3 floor of 22, so ordering within this tier is not meaningful — location and programmes matter more than the number.
The opposite end of the range: hands-on vocational schools for students who don’t qualify for G1–G3 (NorthLight) or are G1-eligible (Spectra). Graduates earn an ITE Skills Certificate.
